By Taxi

The easiest way to get to GITEX AFRICA 2026 from Marrakech Airport if you are unfamiliar with the city is to take a taxi. The price for a taxi ride from the airport to the centre of Marrakesh is about MAD 100. Visit the Marrakech Menara Airport Transportation page for information on taxi services

There is limited parking onsite and around the venue, please follow the site directional signage that will be in place for the event.

Public Transport

It is possible to travel to and from Marrakesh Menara Airport by public transport. If you opt for public transport to and from Marrakesh Menara Airport you can travel by bus. Visit the Marrakesh Menara Airport transportation page for the possibilities.

The official currency unit of Morocco is the Moroccan dirham (DH) which is an abbreviate of (MAD).

In establishments that do not give the possibility to pay by credit card, it is preferable to pay in dirhams. The best places to change your currency are the exchange offices that are located in the tourist squares of each city in Morocco. You can change your currency at the airport or in hotels as well.

As a general rule, all services and sales operations performed and used in Morocco are subject to VAT, even if the service provider or/and the customers are a non-resident company. Services rendered in Morocco are subject to VAT at the rate of 20%.

AT GITEX AFRICA

There will be food and beverage options available on-site. Exhibitors who would like to provide catering for their stand can order it through the Exhibitor Zone or alternatively arrange it themselves. All deliveries for the exhibition on exhibition days are permitted from 10pm - 8am.

Admission to exhibition is restricted to Trade and Business visitors only.

Visitors under the age of 18 will not be admitted.

Students above 16 and below 18 can attend only if accompanied by school or faculty member
